Pasta can be cooked with almost any ingredient. Over the years and with the influence of many different cuisines, pasta recipes are now made with a variety of different ingredients. Nowadays there are pasta recipes where the dishes include nuts, fruits, various vegetables and spices, and almost all types of meat and fish.

One of the most common recipes for pasta is pasta puttanesca. This pasta dish is very simple and uses only a couple of choice ingredients, but the overall flavor of puttanesca has made it one of the most favorable ways of cooking with pasta. Puttanesca involves a lot of flavor from garlic, anchovy fillets, black olives, and capers.

Another great pasta recipe that is now commonly prepared in many different parts of the world is carbonara. Carbonara makes use of the flavor of bacon and cheese to make a very tasty and flavorful pasta dish. To prepare pasta carbonara, use about a pound of diced thick bacon, some salt, a pound of linguini, a couple of eggs, parsley, parmesan cheese, and ground pepper. Start with sauteeing the bacon until they are crisp. In a pot of boiling water, cook the linguini until they are firm. And then in a separate bowl, beat eggs and then pour the eggs in the drained pasta. The pasta’s heat will cook the eggs. Pour over some grated parmesan cheese while the pasta is still warm and sprinke the bacon and parsley.
